How did your aviation career start? What was your experience prior to joining Magnetic Creative, Member of Magnetic Group?
My aviation career started accidentally since I was living abroad, and when I came back then after the summer, I ran out of money and had to find a job. One friend who was working in Magnetic MRO invited me, and now I have been in the company for almost 6 years.
What did you know about Magnetic Creative prior to joining? What was your first impression when you joined?
When I moved from Stock to Interior Workshop after a few months, then we did not know a lot about what MAC (now Magnetic Creative) was doing in the UK. When MAC was relocated from the UK, then I had the chance a few times to visit the factory, and that was a bit more eye-opening. After a few years in Interior Workshop, we started to produce a little bit more, and this helped to get more familiar with the production side.
What are the main challenges in your line of work?
Since I don’t have only one function in the department, then I have many challenges to face. Mostly it is related to getting the product out with good quality, so everything that occurs before is a challenge. Starting to plan the production, ordering the materials, finding the right and competent subcontractor, producing all of the paperwork, filling them correctly, being responsible for the assembly of the items, release to service and closing the work orders.
What are your key goals for this year in your work?
To get to the green line with our department.
Besides work, what are your hobbies?
From autumn til spring, I play volleyball with my team. In winter, I try to snowboard as much as possible, and I also teach kids at the weekends. In the summer, I try to BBQ as much as possible since I like to experiment with different possibilities.
And bonus question – what are your top destinations to travel to?
Always mountains. Doesn’t matter if it`s the Alps, Scandinavia or somewhere else.
