Magnetic MRO had become one of the main sponsors of Baltic Chain Tour, a stage race for professional road bicycle racers organized as a part of the UCI Continental Circuits. The joint Baltic cycling tour has a long history, known as one of the longest annual cycling tours in the Northern Europe, and it has been continuing for decades. This year was the 29th edition of the Baltic Chain Tour and it was held in the three Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) from 23rd until 26th of August.
As the three countries are celebrating their centenaries, the Baltic Chain Tour started in Tallinn, Estonia and finished four days later in Vilnius, Lithuania. The winner of the tour wore Magnetic MRO branded shirt as a result of being the main sponsor. "We are so proud to become a part of this historical event and seeing our brand name associated with winner's joyous and victorious moments." stated Tiina Shein, Magnetic MRO Marketing Manager.
The overall winner of the three stage tour was Latvian Emīls Liepiņš, with Lithuanian Ramunas Navardauskas coming second and Estonian Gert Jõeäär finishing third.
