Magnetic Group Hosts Civil Aviation Association’s 5th Anniversary
Magnetic Group hosted the Civil Aviation Association's (CAVIA) 5th-anniversary event at the Vilnius office. CAVIA is an association representing all aviation segments in Lithuanian aviation. The association's purpose is to promote the local aviation industry and unite members to join forces in achieving this goal. The gathering attracted Marius Skuodys, the Minister of Transport and Communications, public sector agency leaders, and aviation industry representatives.
"Though Magnetic Group was born in Estonia, we operate an office in Vilnius, Lithuania, with over 60 employees. We are also proud to have Lithuanians working in our maintenance facilities and other divisions. Our focus is on contributing to the development of the aviation industry in Lithuania, and we are keen to support its growth. It's no secret that the Baltics region has a pool of skilled talents that we shall try to attract to the aviation industry, encompassing all — from engineering and sales to administrative roles. CAVIA is an excellent platform for this, with a solid representation and comprehensive coverage of interests, "shares Inga Duglas, CCO at Magnetic Group.
"In 2019, CAVIA was born; today, we are an organization representing about 500 mln. Euro-generating businesses from all sides of the aviation industry: airlines, airports, aircraft repair, ground handling, fuel supply, trading companies, education and training, and even the aviation museum. During these five years, we have achieved the fact that business and public sector institutions and companies work together to accomplish joint goals of the Lithuanian aviation strategy. I do not doubt that the next phase of CAVIA will be even stronger. It is symbolic that we start celebrating our birthday with our newest member, Magnetic Group, a global, active, and bold company," expressed Orijana Mašalė, Chair of the Board at CAVIA.
