Magnetic Engines first half of 2024 has exceeded expectations. The first six months of 2024 have signified substantial growth and scaled operations for Magnetic Engines. The steady progress of the engine shop, alongside the increased scope of engine maintenance and repair, resulted in showcasing outstanding results, setting the stage for an even more promising future.

Business Overview: Half-Year Results

The numbers are reflecting the results, as since January, our division has completed 41 engine events, with 9 of those being minor repairs or inspections. Approximately 30% of our work focused on sunset CFM56-3 engines, while the remaining 70% was on CFM56-5B and 7B engines.

Customer satisfaction remained at a high rate (4.63 out of 5), indicating that orienting toward each customer’s specific needs and focusing on efficiently resolving them is the right approach. Simultaneously, our team has been growing, and the number of shop-floor technicians has increased by 40%.

Special Projects and Developments:

  • Completed a CFM56-5B Engine DAC to SAC Conversion.
  • In partnership with a loyal customer, proceeded with a HPT Blades replacement program, covering a total of 6 engines.
  • Expanded our Engine Workshop by 350m², providing additional space for tooling, storage, and cleaning.
  • Signed strategic agreements with CFMI to develop our LEAP engine maintenance capabilities

Filip Stanisic, Head of Magnetic Engines, commented: "The first half of 2024 has demonstrated the strength and potential of our team. We're expanding our capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our customers."

As we move into the second half of the year, new tooling is expected in the workshop premises, significantly widening our repair capabilities. This expansion will enable us to perform full-performance restoration repairs on CFM56 engines, further improving our service offerings.
