Magnetic Academy Students Start Classroom-based Training
As part of the recently launched Magnetic Academy, a workplace-based program developed for aircraft engineers, its classroom courses started at the end of August. While partnering up with Riga-based Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI), it curated the program's on-site theoretical courses, in which 15 newly joined students enrolled.
As a prerequisite, the attendees completed an entry period at Magnetic MRO before entering step two, a theory-oriented training course totaling 320 hours of lessons. The portfolio of topics covered ranges from aviation physics to aircraft structure and the industry's legislative landscape. This part will last until mid-January and is divided into cycles of two-week classroom classes followed by two weeks of hands-on work at Magnetic MRO.
After graduation, the participants will continue with their practical experience, with the chance to become licensed technicians during the program's second stage, the EASA module course. The application process is open for those interested in starting a career in the aviation sector and joining the next round of Magnetic Academy. Visit our dedicated page for additional information.
