2024 Recap: Magnetic MRO Base Maintenance
The year 2024 exceeded expectations for the Magnetic MRO Base Maintenance business, with further growth and awaiting developments. It was a record-breaking year with major milestones achieved, setting the stage for further advancements in 2025 and onwards.

The Base Maintenance business saw a 16.7% increase in employee count, growing from 215 to 251 specialists.
46 C-checks were completed, primarily on A320 aircraft.
Versatile projects, ranging from a 5-month-long end-of-lease check to a quickest check completed in just 5 days.
Continuing partnerships with long-term customers, including Austrian, SAS, Enter Air, Volotea, SMBC, and Sunclass.
Milestones shaping the future:
January 2024 brought the launch of Magnetic Academy, an in-house work-study apprenticeship program addressing the global manpower shortage by teaching new talent from zero. Additionally, a contract was signed with Tallinn Airport to construct a new maintenance hangar, with the build process already underway. Scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, the new hangar will increase operational capacity and flexibility and provide cross-departmental synergies. The start of AMOS software implementation was another step forward, with advanced digital solutions enhancing our maintenance processes' efficiency even more.

Comments such as “Probably one of the best MROs in Europe. Work standards, knowledge, care, and attention are excellent” reaffirm our focus on quality. Received recognition reflects the efforts of everybody on the team, who are consistently prioritizing high service levels.
Some of the integral reasons behind our maintained quality is our portfolio of versatile services and collaborative approach. Next to planned maintenance checks, complex aircraft major structural elements replacement projects were expertly handled by the Sheet Metal team, while the Non-Destructive Testing team contributed significantly to ensuring project precision. The intercompany cooperations show the strength and versatility of the Base Maintenance workforce.
